Schwabe Topi MP Gel

Indications of Topi MP Gel

Rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis, sciatica, lumbar spondylosis, and cervical spondylosis.

Topi MP Gel is composed of three proven homeopathic medicines: Rhus Toxicodendron (Poison Ivy), Symphytum officinale (Comfrey), and Ledum palustre (Wild Rosemary). They are widely used as medicinal plants in traditional medicine. They are also used in homeopathy because of their pain-killing, hyperemic and anti-inflammatory effect. The combination is effective for the external treatment of painful conditions of bones, joints, and muscles such as rheumatic diseases, arthrosis, and spondylosis.

Rheumatism is a chronic inflammatory disease of the joints with pain and stiffness. It is caused by an autoimmune disorder, but other factors such as infections, inheritance, and hormones are involved. Non-articular rheumatism or fibromyalgia describes the pain in muscles and fibrous tissues. In the acute phase of rheumatoid arthritis, painful swelling of the joints occurs, followed by degeneration in the chronic phase. Very often the finger joints are affected which develops a typical spindle shape. Topi MP Gel can be used for the external treatment of painful conditions of the joints caused by rheumatic diseases.

Compression or disturbance of the sciatic nerve leads to typical pain along the backside of the buttocks and thighs to the feet. The most common cause of sciatica is prolapsed intervertebral discs. Therefore it is often combined with back pain. Topi MP Gel relieves sciatic pain. Osteoarthritis, inflammation, overuse, and aging are the main causes of the degeneration of the intervertebral joints of the spine. This may result in painful spondylosis of the neck (cervical spondylosis) and the lower back (lumbar spondylosis). Topi MP Gel can be used on the affected areas of the spine.
