Indications of Topi Heal Cream

Wounds, cuts, sore nipples, nappy rash, prevention of varicose ulcers & bed-sores, boils, and carbuncles.

Topi Heal Cream is composed of three proven homoeopathic medicines: Echinacea, Calendula and Millefolium. They are widely used as medicinal plants in traditional and folk medicines. They are also used in homoeopathy for their wound-healing, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties as external treatment in various skin conditions. The combination is effective for the treatment of wounds, cuts, sore nipples, nappy rashes and prevention of skin ulcerations due to varicose veins or bed sores.

EXTERNAL MANIFESTATIONS AND COVERAGE

Nappy Rash is an inflammation of the skin in the baby’s nappy area. It is caused by the irritating effect of urine and faeces. Fungal infections might be involved leading to painful open lesions. Because of its good wound-healing properties, Topi Heal Cream helps the skin to recover and protects it from new irritations. It should be applied when the first sign of nappy rash appears. The baby’s skin should be kept as dry and exposure to air should be allowed as often as possible.

Varicose veins are very common, including Haemorrhoids (piles) and Varicocele. They are caused by weakness of connective tissues, valve malfunction or inadequate venous return. Varicose veins are most often seen in the leg veins, which become dilated and appear slightly twisted or tortuous. The heaviness of the legs and swelling of feet and ankles. In cases of chronic venous insufficiency, congestion of skin and oedema, pigmentation, formation of scaly eruptions (eczema-like) and ulceration (Ulcus cruris) may occur. Topi Heal Cream can be used to prevent ulcerations and for the treatment of mild forms of varicose veins.

Bed sores are a typical condition in patients, usually elderly, resting in bed for a long period of time. It can also be caused by plaster casts or splints. Common locations are heels, elbows, shoulders, buttocks and the lower end of the spine. Topi Heal Cream can be used to prevent ulcerations and for the treatment of mild forms of bed sores.

Sphere of Action

The plant compounds of Calendula Officinalis have excellent wound-healing properties. They possess anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory action and support the formation of granulation tissue. Owing to this wide spectrum of action, it is effective for all kinds of wounds, soothes sore nipples from breastfeeding and supports the healing of the nappy rash. It is the specific therapy for ulceration due to insufficient granulation, such as bedsores (Ulcus cruris) or varicose ulcers.

Echinacea Angustifolia is known to stimulate immune activity and has an anti-microbial action against bacteria and viruses. It can prevent microbial infections and is also suitable for therapy. Therefore, it is widely used for the treatment of purulent and septic conditions. such as infected wounds or ulcers.

Millefolium is a remedy for conditions of the vascular system. Therefore, it is used for the treatment of varicose veins. Because of its haemostatic properties, it is effective in stopping bleeding. Millefolium
can be used for the treatment of open wounds or cuts with severe bleeding and also for tissue damage with capillary bleeding.

 

Directions for Use

Unless otherwise prescribed, Topi Heal Cream should be applied as follows: The cream should be used 1-3 times daily by applying a thin layer to the cleaned and dried affected areas.
