Indications

Supportive treatment of haemorrhoids (piles)

Haemorrhoids or piles are vascular swellings of the tissues of the anus and rectum. It is a problem very common in adults, both men and women. It is engorged, enlarged and inflammed blood vessels in or around the lower portion of the rectum and at the anus. Internal haemorrhoids (piles) arise from congestion of the plexus of superior haemorrhoidal veins, and external haemorrhoids (piles) arise from the inferior haemorrhoidal veins. This may hang outside the anus. It may be of a size of a pea or large protrusions in chronic cases. Haemorrhoids (piles) often result from straining to have a bowel movement.

Managing interventions involve a high fibre diet, avoidance of straining, use of medication to relieve pain, lower the inflammation and strengthen the venous walls. Aesculus hippocastanum has long been used in homoeopathy for the treatment of bleeding and non-bleeding haemorrhoids.

Topi Aesculus Cream contains 10% of Aesculus Hippocastanum MT.

Topi Aesculus Cream alleviates the symptoms of haemorroids such as sharp and shooting pains in the rectum and back as well as soreness and aching lasting for hours after bowel movements.

Topi Aesculus Cream is suitable for both bleeding and non-bleeding haemorrhoids.

 

Directions for Use

Unless otherwise prescribed, Topi Aesculus Cream should be applied as follows:
The cream should be used 3-5 times daily by applying a thin layer to properly cleaned the anus. Use applicator for inside.
