Schwabe Mercurius Iodatus Flavus (3X) (Trituration) (20 GM)
It is also known as yellow mercurous iodide. It is a strong, yellowish, amorphous powder, which is odourless and tasteless.
It is useful in diphtheria and other throat affections when the glands of the parts are enlarged and indurated. It is of service in hard chancre, and when the inguinal glands are enlarged, in subacute bronchitis of syphilitic and scrofulous subjects, when the cough is loose and rattling, and the bronchi are coated with mucus and muco-purulent material.
It is also used when mucous membranes of the nose and pharynx are congested and swollen.
It is a drug remembered in mammary tumours, with warm perspiration and gastric disturbances.
