Indications of Schwabe Essentia Aurea

Symptoms of mild forms of cardiac weakness, hypertension, stenocardia, or dysrhythmia (cardiotonic action).

lschaemic heart disease secondary to atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality. Risk factors for the development of coronary artery atherosclerosis include a family history of premature coronary artery disease, cigarette smoking, hypercholesteraemia, hypertension, and diabetes mellitus. Obesity, physical inactivity, and stress may play a lesser role. Coronary artery disease maybe
clinically silent but is more frequently associated with symptoms (e.g., myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, sudden death).

Angina pectoris is the chest discomfort associated with myocardial ischaemia that occurs when myocardial oxygen demand exceeds supply. Angina is typically described as a retrosternal pain, discomfort, heaviness, or pressure radiating to the neck, jaw, shoulders, or arms. It Is usually precipitated by exertion. Associated symptoms include dyspnoea, diaphoresis, nausea, vomiting, and occasional palpitations. Treatment is
directed toward improving myocardial oxygen supply, reducing myocardial oxygen demand, and treating precipitating factors or concurrent disorders that may exacerbate ischaemia.

Sphere of Action

Crataegus Oxyacantha acts on heart muscle as a heart tonic. It lowers the pulse, air hunger, and reduces blood pressure. It has an effect on extreme dyspnoea on minimal exertion, pain in the heart region and under the left clavicle, cold extremities, blueness of fingers, and irregular pulse. It helps in cases of chronic heart diseases and arteriosclerosis.

Aurum Muriaticum is indicated for cardiac symptoms of varied nature, arteriosclerosis, valvular lesions and hypertension. It acts on palpitation and tachyarrhythmia.

Convallaria Majalis is a heart remedy, which increases the heart’s action and renders it more regular. It is used when the ventricles are over distended or dilated and venous stasis is marked. It is indicated for dyspnoea, dropsy, tobacco heart, orthopnoea, angina pectoris, and tachyarrhythmia. It also acts on palpitation.

Ignatia Amara is useful in patients of sensitive excitable nature and helps overcome grief and worry. It is indicated for depression, nervousness, trembling, sleep disorders, and constrictive feeling in the throat and chest.

Veratrum Album is indicated for collapse, weakness and extreme coldness. It covers cold extremities, cold sweat on the forehead, paleness, feeble pulse, and palpitation with anxiety and rapid audible respiration.

Arnica Montana affects the blood and vascular system. Symptoms occur after any trauma or overuse. It is indicated for cardiac dropsy with dyspnoea, angina pectoris, feeble and irregular pulse, and cardiac asthma.

 

Dosage of Schwabe Essentia Aurea

Unless otherwise prescribed, Schwabe Essentia Aurea should be taken as follows:
10-20 drops should be taken 3 times a day.

Note: For treatment during pregnancy and lactation, and for patients with serious liver or alcohol problems, in particular, please note that this product contains alcohol.
