Schwabe Arsenicum Iodatum (Trituration) (20 GM)

The basic material is orange-red in colour and is very sensitive to air. It gradually loses iodine if not properly stored. It has .been used in tubercular diathesis, chronic inflammatory states of lungs and bronchial tubes with a profuse, greenish-yellow, pus-like expectoration and short breath. It is also useful in obstinate skin problems like psoriasis and eczema. It is valuable in chronic scrofulous ophthalmia, with ulceration; in otorrhoea with foetid, corrosive discharge; in corrosive leucorrhoea with too frequent and profuse menses (generally with ulceration of the os); in diarrhoea (so common in children and in consumptives), when the evacuations “scald,” irritate, and made the parts sore and excoriated. The two preparations of this medicine are the 3x and 6x. 3x is for adults and 6x is for children and delicate patients of any age.
