Schwabe Ammonium Bromatum (Trituration) (20 GM)

Ammonium Bromatum has coverage in the areas of the nose, tonsils, larynx, and pharynx. It is useful in chronic laryngeal, pharyngeal catarrh, and chronic speaker’s catarrh. It lowers tickling in the throat, trachea, and bronchial tubes with an inclination to dry or spasmodic cough, especially at night, burning in fauces with white, sticky mucus. Trituration and compression are to be done in a moisture-free atmosphere which is normally present in GMP factories.

It is also indicated for continued sleeplessness preceding an attack of cerebro-spinal meningitis. It relieves sleep disturbances but meningitis will have to be separately dealt with.
