Laryngitis is an inflammation of the mucous membrane lining the larynx (voice box), which is located in the upper part of the respiratory tract. The most common symptom is hoarseness that may, within several days, progress to partial or total loss of voice. Fever, sore throat, and difficulty in swallowing may occur as well.

Indications of Bakson’s B51 Drops

• Helps relieve chronic hoarseness of singers, actors, teachers, and public speakers; stuck-up sensation in the throat, besides relieving other symptoms of Laryngitis like sore throat and cough.

 

Mode of Action

Argentum Nitricum: Is an irritant of mucous membranes, producing violent inflammation of the throat. Chronic hoarseness. Suffocative cough as if from a hair in throat. Catarrh of smokers with tickling as of hair in throat. Strangulated feeling.

Arnica Montana: Hoarseness from overuse of voice. Pleurodynia. Hoarseness, worse exertion, cold or getting wet. Cough causes bloodshot eyes or nosebleeds. Raw, sore feeling in the morning. Cough produce by weeping and lamenting.

Phytolacca: Sore throat. Aching pains in chest, through mid-sternum; with cough. Rheumatism of lower intercostals. Difficult breathing, dry hacking, tickling cough, worse at night. Panting breathing. Hoarseness, cough with burning in the trachea.

Calcarea Carbonica: It covers the tickling cough, fleeting chest pains. Painless hoarseness; worse in ‘ the morning. Tickling cough as from dust or feather in the throat.

 

Dosage of Bakson’s B51 Drops

Acute cases: 3 doses of 10-15 drops each at 15 mins. Interval followed by every 2 hours till improvement sets in.
Chronic cases: 10-15 drops in some water 3 times daily before meals for at least 12-16 weeks.
